Dr. Richard Wilson, Senior Pastor
Richard Wilson has served as pastor of Oakwood since 1995. He is married to Kristi, a native of Florida. Rich and Kristi have three children, Angela, Christopher, and Aimee Grace. Rich has served churches in South Carolina and Mississippi.
Pastor Rich is a graduate of North Greenville College, Charleston Southern University, and New Orleans Theological Seminary. He holds the Doctor of Theology degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary.
Pastor has led five teaching tours to Israel since 1998. He has also taken five mission trips to the Republic of Moldova and serves as an adjunct professor at the Christian Leadership Training Institute in the capital city of Chisinau.

Dr. Larry Scott, Pastor of Music, Education and Administration
Larry Scott has served on the Oakwood staff since 1999. He is married to Tena, a native of North Carolina. Larry and Tena have two children, Graycen and Noah. Larry has served in churches in North and South Carolina.
Larry is a graduate of North Greenville College, Charleston Southern University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He holds the Doctor of Ministry degree from Andersonville Baptist Seminary.

Rev.Michael Sims, Associate Pastor of Student Ministries
Michael Sims joined the Oakwood staff in October 2001. He is a graduate of Airport High School, in West Columbia, South Carolina. He also spent some time at USC (on the football field) and Columbia International University studying Family & Church Education. Michael volunteered leading the children's and youth's ministries at another area church before coming on as staff here at Oakwood. Michael is married to his fabulous wife, Chrissy, of Lexington, SC and is the proud father of two beautiful girls, Marrissa & Kierra. You can contact Pastor Michael Sims by email at
