Ministries

These are descriptions of some of the ministries at Oakwood.  You will find a contact link for each ministry. 

Sunday School- We offer Sunday school classes for all ages and walks of life.  For children, we have classes from newborns to 12th grade.  For adults, we offer classes for singles, couples, men and women.  We encourage you to find the class best suited for you.  Sunday school begins at 9:15 AM.  Dr. Larry Scott, our Pastor for Education and Music, will be glad to answer your question concerning Sunday school.  Contact Dr. Scott at lscott@oakwoodbaptistchurch.com.

Small Groups- Small groups are available throughout the year. 

Discipleship Classes- A variety of discipleship classes are offered throughout the year. For current classes contact Dr. Larry Scott at lscott@oakwoodbaptistchurch.com. 

Wednesday Bible Study- Pastor Rich Wilson offers an hour of Bible study on Wednesday evenings.  The Bible study sessions begin at 6:30 PM.  The approach is a verse-by-verse study of a section of scripture.  Current Study- The Kings of the Bible.   For more information: Contact Pastor Rich at rwilson@oakwoodbaptistchurch.com 

Family TreeHouse- Family TreeHouse is an exciting new ministry for the whole family.  Join us in the Gym at 6:25 for an exciting time of fun, worship, group time and Bible study for the whole family.  FAMILY TREEHOUSE RETURNS FOR FALL ON SEPTEMBER 9 AT 6:25 PM.
